Elsternwick Garden
For a garden that was only planted a year ago, this Elsternwick front garden is certainly flourishing. Inspired by many of the beautiful planting designs of Piet Oudolf, this garden has a wild, colourful, meadow like feel.
The front of the property displays a facade of Boston Ivy that drapes over the fence, providing a welcoming entrance.
Mass plantings of Salvia ‘Indigo Spires’, and Achillea mollis ‘Terracotta’ sweep through the garden, weaving in and out of each other.
Miscanthus sinensis ‘Gracilimus’ and Lomandra confertifolia ‘Little Pal’ add textural contrast while Pyrus nivalis are spotted throughout the garden for some height and scale.
