The 2010 Garden Designfest scheme is coming up on the weekend of November 13 & 14th. Twenty-seven of Melbourne’s designed gardens will be open to the public to raise much needed funds for Rotary charities.
We have a large garden full of discovery and surprise open at 14 Summit Drive, Eaglemont. E-GA’s Scott Leung will be at the garden on the Saturday and Rick Eckersley on the Sunday to welcome you and chat about the design of this property.
With old weathered creeper clad French Doors, black & white inlay pebbles, twisting garden paths, entertaining areas and a large rectangular pond, this garden has plenty to explore.
The gardens will be open from 10:00am until 4:30pm both days, allowing plenty of time to walk through the space, chat to Rick and Scott and see the other 26 gardens open around Melbourne. For those who are curious about E-GA and need some design advice, it is a perfect opportunity to meet with Rick and Scott.
Tickets are available at the gardens or online through the Garden Designfest website. All proceeds raised over the weekend go to Rotary’s selected charities.
